Well it has been a long hard winter especially February. February was also the month that our youngest son Mark went off with the TA, he is okay and keeps in regular contact lets pray he comes home safe. Spring seems to have arrived the clocks have gone forward and the daffodils are now cheering us up with hope of some long sunny days ahead, well we can hope. |

Hello Farm life at Lorbottle is not quite into the winter mode, only having managed to finish the harvest off three weeks ago, Leslie is trying put some crops back in but its getting late and some may have to go in spring crops. |

When will the rain stop. August is drawing to a close when will the sun shine? As we wait patiently the grass grows up through the hay waiting for sunshine to turn it crisp, the oil seed rape is ready but soggy and barley half cut the joys of farming life. |
